Advent is a story that invites us to participate.
Waiting with our longings can result in disappointment, bitterness, and hopelessness if we’re not waiting in trustful expectation. We can lose sight of God’s goodness, forget God’s promises, and feel unseen, unheard, and forgotten.
We are invited to make room in our hearts for God’s promises through prayer.
