Ash Wednesday is an ancient gathering in which we remember our own mortality and the fragility of the world.  It begins the season of Lent, the 40 days before Easter in which we journey together with Jesus toward the cross, where he dealt with our brokenness once and for all.  On Ash Wednesday, we’ll gather together for a simple, beautiful time of remembering “We are dust, and to dust we shall return.”
