Maundy Thursday

On Maundy Thursday we remember Jesus’ last night with his disciples. He washed their feet and gave them the new commandment to “love one another even as I have loved you.” Just as Jesus shared a last supper with his disciples on this night, we will share in a potluck meal together with friends from St. Luke’s Church.
Good Friday

On Good Friday we find ourselves at the cross with Jesus, abandoned by his followers and facing a painful death. During this worship service we will remember and reflect on the crucifixion as well as those who are crucified among us, using Scripture, prayer, song, and times of reflection. Furthermore, we’re coming together with other churches in the neighborhood to show that unity among diverse people is found in Christ’s all-embracing love.
